"DIARY" project. 2019
The project is based on research into online content created by young people under the age of 20 living in Ukraine.
It involves translating digital “new sincerity” into an analog format in order to enable deeper perception.
In my view, the manual engagement with text allows one to feel the anxiety, duality, and at times even the banality of the messages present in the virtual content of contemporary teenagers.
At the same time, anyone can recognize themselves in these words, regardless of age or gender.
Perhaps, then, the notion of a “generation gap” is overstated in the context of our differences?

Проєкт створено на основі дослідження інтеренет контенту молоді до 20 років, що мешкає в Україні.
Перенесення дигітальної "нової відвертості" в аналоговий вид для більш глибокого сприйняття.
На мою думку, мануальна робота з текстом дозволяє відчути тривожність, дуальність, а деколи і тривіальність меседжів віртуального контенту сучасного підлітка.
Та за великим рахунком, у цих словах може знайти себе кожен, не зважаючи на вік чи стать.
Тож, можливо, тема "боротьба поколінь" є перебільшеною у контексті відмінностей?

On October 7–8, the youth initiatives forum Action! Forum took place at the National Center “Ukrainian House,” within which a group art exhibition of contemporary Ukrainian artists was presented and continued until October 13.

7-8 жовтня у Національному центрі «Український дім» відбувся форум молодіжних ініціатив Action! Forum, в рамках якого була представлена групова художня виставка сучасних митців України, що продовжилась до 13 жовтня.
Організатори проєкту: Національний центр «Український дім» та Центр Експерементальної Культури.
За підтримки посольства США в Україні.
